ADDITIONAL FUNERAL DIRECTOR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
This funeral director may be able to supply a range of optional, additional products and services, or to arrange (on your behalf) for a third party to supply them. Examples include:
- This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.

Our Funeral Plans
Pre-paid funeral plans
Purchasing a funeral plan enables you to pre-pay and pre-plan your funeral arrangements in advance. This will give you the peace of mind of knowing it has all been taken care of and takes away, from your loved ones, the stress of planning and paying for your funeral at a time when they will be mourning your loss.
A funeral plan also enables you to fix the Funeral Directors costs at today’s prices and offers an option to fix the cost of the Crematorium and Minister fees. A funeral plan also allows you to specify your personal wishes and you can have the funeral you want at a cost to suit your budget.
There are many funeral plan providers in the United Kingdom but we have chosen to work with Golden Leaves who have been providing funeral plans for over 35 years and are well known for their forward thinking and innovation. Through Golden Leaves we can build you a funeral plan that meets your needs and can be delivered within your budget. The money you pay for your funeral is invested in the Golden Leaves Trust Fund which has been paying for funerals for over 35 years.
Working in partnership with Golden Leaves means we can deliver a funeral plan that not only guarantees our costs but also gives you the option of guaranteeing the cremation and minister fees. If you choose this option, your family will not need to find any extra money at the time of the funeral for these two particular costs.
Personalising your funeral has become very common these days and there is a multitude of options that are available. Funerals today are a celebration of your life and we can help you provide a funeral that is dignified and memorable for your loved ones. We can offer all types of funeral services from a Pure Style Cremation Service to religious and non-religious services. Whatever you choose it will be carried out in a respectful and dignified manner.
The Benefits Of Pre-paid Funeral Plans
There are several important benefits to pre-paid funeral plans. It ensures:
- Peace of mind: a prepaid funeral plan removes any worry you may have about leaving your family to pay for your funeral expenses and having to make the arrangements on your behalf.
- The funeral of your choice: You have the opportunity to arrange all aspects of your funeral so that your wishes are carried out.
- Assisting your family: In today’s society, families often live in different parts of the Country or indeed different parts of the world, and therefore unfamiliar with local funeral directors or local services. The pre-paid funeral plan ensures all aspects of the funeral arrangements are taken care of leaving relatives less to worry about in respect of planning the funeral.
- Financial security: Your money will be held in the Golden Leaves Trust Fund, separately from Golden Leaves. This protects your money and makes sure it’s available when the time comes.
- Financial sense: The plan enables you to secure your funeral at today’s prices. Like many other services, the cost of a funeral is likely to increase over the coming years.
- Age or Health Restrictions: We do not require you to obtain medical certificates from a doctor and there is no age restriction associated with taking out a pre-paid funeral plan. However, we will ask questions about your age and medical history and these may impact the ways in which you can pay for plan if you decide to go ahead.
There are some costs outside the Funeral Director’s control, which are known as disbursements. These include fees relating to such costs as Doctor’s fees, Clergy, Crematoria, floral tributes, Cemeteries and Memorials. Part of the price of your plan is an allowance toward these costs. Golden Leaves will guarantee to increase your allowance towards these costs in line with the Retail Price Index (RPI). However, if there is an increase in these costs above the RPI, this will require an additional contribution from your relatives or estate to cover the extra cost at the time.
